Number types and address rules
| Type | Required address |
|---|---|
| Local | Matching area-code region |
| Mobile, toll-free | Finland |
All require address evidence; PO boxes are excluded.
What to prepare
Businesses: name, register extract/equivalent, registration number (Y-tunnus for Finnish entities; home-country equivalent for foreign entities), website/social profile, intended use, representative's name/email. Address proof: registry showing it, utility bill, tax notice, rent receipt, or title deed. Alias emails are prohibited; personal domains may need extra checks.
Individuals: name, government ID/passport, document number, intended use, and address proof from an ID showing it, utility bill, tax notice, rent receipt, or title deed.
Before ordering
Twilio asks applicants to classify the use as transactional, promotional, or verification. Describe the actual inbound service; this registration field does not turn the guide into outbound-campaign approval. Foreign registration does not remove the Finnish address requirement.
These are preparation notes, not a stock or approval guarantee. Check the exact number's Voice capability and current registration form. For shared terms and the ordering steps, see the overview.
Local terminology
Translations help identify terms; they do not expand Twilio's accepted document list.
