| Type | Eligibility and address |
|---|---|
| Local | Businesses and individuals; Switzerland |
| Mobile | Worldwide address, but SMS-only |
| Toll-free | Businesses only; worldwide address |
What to prepare
Local businesses: register extract proving the business and Swiss registered office; UID for Swiss entities; provide a different business address if applicable.
Mobile businesses: register extract proving name and registered office; UID for Swiss entities.
Toll-free businesses: register extract/business registration and address details; no address-document upload listed.
Local/mobile individuals: name, ID details (type, number, issuing country), nationality, profession, and birth date. Twilio accepts government ID, Swiss visa, passport, or Swiss residence permit for identity; birth-date evidence is a personal ID card or passport. No address-document upload listed.
Before ordering
Swiss mobile numbers cannot receive voice calls: Twilio says they are SMS-only and non-portable. For inbound voice, consider local or business toll-free inventory.
These are preparation notes, not a stock or approval guarantee. Check the exact number's Voice capability and current registration form. For shared terms and the ordering steps, see the overview.
