Twilio phone number eligibility, address rules, and documents for Spain.
Last checked: 16 October 2026. Scope: obtaining numbers for inbound/general telephony.
Number types and address rules
| Type | Required address |
|---|---|
| Local | Within the number's area-code region; no PO box |
| Mobile, national, toll-free | Within Spain |
What to prepare
Businesses: business name, Spanish fiscal identifier (Twilio labels this CIF), and address. Supply business registration proving the name and fiscal identifier. Prove the address with registration showing it, a utility bill, tax notice, rent receipt, or title deed.
Individuals: name, Spanish fiscal identifier (DNI/NIF/NIE), and address. Identity and fiscal-number evidence must be a Spanish national ID, Spanish passport, or Spanish residence card. Address evidence can be a Spanish ID/residence card, utility bill, tax notice, rent receipt, or title deed.
Before ordering
A foreign address alone does not satisfy these categories. For inbound service, exclude the national +34 400 commercial-call range: Twilio marks it outbound-only. The listed ordinary national prefix is +34 51; toll-free is +34 900.
These are preparation notes, not a stock or approval guarantee. Check the exact number's Voice capability and current registration form. For shared terms and the ordering steps, see the overview.
